Area 14 Sports

Wonders will never cease as the next Area 14 Sports event is announced.

Please can all table Chairmen communicate with their Sports Officers and send me details of which tables will be attending and how many people will be attending.

Date: 17th Feb 2011
Time: 7pm
Venue: Church Gresley Indoor Bowls Centre, Church Gresley, Swadlincote, DE11 9QW (www.cgibc.co.uk)
Format: League, followed by knock out. Number of ends determined by number of teams attending.
Bowls can be supplied. Footwear must be appropriate i.e. smooth soled, however, proper bowling shoes can be hired on the night for £1.
What’s included? Bowling and hot food. There is a licensed bar.
Cost: £14 pp
Each table can enter a max of 2 teams (2 men per team) to begin with, to give everyone the opportunity to compete.
Scoring as last year, as follows;
1st place – 10 points
2nd place – 8 points
3rd place – 6 points
4th place – 4 points
All teams finishing outside of the top 4 will receive 2 points each for entering
